Program FAQ
Am I Eligible to Join?
The flexible benefit plan options have been specifically designed with real estate professional’s financial protection and well-being in mind. Any licensed real estate agent or mortgage broker in Canada (excepting Quebec for now) is eligible to join the Program. Upon your application, your license status will be confirmed with your Province’s licensing body in order to approve your eligibility. Once you’ve joined the Program it is your contractual obligation to inform Hub International and Effortless Admin should you cease to be a licensed real estate agent at any time.
How Do I Enroll?
If approved, Hub International will initiate a digital enrollment process on the Effortless Admin platform. You will receive the invitation by email and be able to complete your enrollment on your computer, tablet, or smartphone.
How Do I Select My Coverage Level?
The Effortless Admin digital enrollment process will provide you with your coverage options with built in decision support to help you differentiate between coverage. You can Live Chat the Effortless Team in real time should you have questions about the process. Also, every key stroke is saved, so you are able to leave the process to confer with your spouse before selecting coverage and then come back and pick up where you left off without having to re-enter any information.
When Can I Enroll?
Eligible applicants can enroll any time after June 1, 2023.
When Will My Coverage Take Effect?
The Program does not have a waiting period. Your coverage will take effect the first business day of the month immediately following the month in which you enroll.
Is There a Yearly Deductible for the Health and Dental Plan?
No, there is no deductible for any of the plan coverage levels.
How Am I Billed for My Coverage?
The Program mandates pre-authorized debit (PAD) as the only approved payment method. The Effortless Admin digital enrollment includes a PAD setup process together with market standard PAD agreement terms and conditions. If you enroll in the Program, you will be required to pay the full, total monthly cost for each month without proration. Your monthly invoice will be delivered digitally via the Effortless Admin platform on the last business day of each month, and premiums are withdrawn on the 10 day (or next business day) of each month. For example, you will be invoiced for July premiums on June 30, with payment being collected July 10.
Can I Change my Coverage Level?
Effortless Admin facilitates a digital re-enrollment process. Currently the Program allows you to reselect your coverage every 24 months or upon the occurrence of a life event that impacts your coverage requirements, such as marriage or the birth of a child. Please note that the standard reselection period may be normalized to a calendar year; in which case your initial coverage selection period may not be exactly 24 months. You will be asked to re-confirm your license status at each re-enrollment.
How Can I Terminate my Coverage?
You are able to terminate your coverage at any time on 30 days notice to groupbenefits@effortlessadmin.com If you leave the Program for any reason, you will not be eligible to enroll again for a period of 2 years.
